Confirm before purchasing

  • Required features are included in the quoted edition and licence.
  • Deployment prerequisites, third-party integrations and data handling are specified.
  • Installation, training, updates and after-sales support are described separately.

Features, specifications, licensing, sales regions and availability depend on current vendor documentation and the formal quotation. New integrations or custom work require separate assessment.

01

Identify the specific SAP product first

SAP ERP describes a product category; selection requires a specific product and version. For example, SAP Business One serves small and midsize businesses across finance, purchasing, inventory, sales, customer relationships and reporting. Other SAP products have their own deployment and implementation requirements.

02

Define business processes and data scope

Document companies, departments, warehouses, currencies, records and approval processes, together with existing systems and external interfaces. Test representative purchasing, sales, closing and stock-enquiry scenarios rather than comparing screens and feature lists alone.

03

Coordinate deployment and ongoing operation

AL-Touch can first assess the application's IT environment, including servers, connectivity, account permissions and backups. SAP licensing, process configuration, data migration and implementation consulting are confirmed with the relevant supplier or implementation team. Specify each party's responsibilities, support contacts and handover documents in the proposal.

SAP Business One is a specific product example. It does not establish identical features or delivery arrangements across all SAP products.

Can SAP Business One and other SAP ERP products be treated as one solution?

No. Their intended users, functions, deployment methods and implementation work differ. Provide the current product name, version and business needs so the appropriate supporting work can be assessed.

Should we select servers or define ERP needs first?

First establish the product, user numbers, data volume, interfaces and acceptable downtime, then check manufacturer support and resource requirements. Software licences, consulting and IT equipment should have separate scopes and costs.
